RenewBell — Terms and Conditions (End User License Agreement)

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Workship Apps ("we", "us", or "the developer") governing your use of the RenewBell iOS application ("the app"). By creating an account or using the app, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the app.

2. Description of the Service

RenewBell is a personal subscription tracker. It lets you record subscriptions you pay for, view spending summaries and insights, receive reminders and alarms before renewals, scan receipts or screenshots to add subscriptions ("Smart Scan"), and export reports of your own data. RenewBell is an organizational tool: it does not connect to your bank, does not manage or cancel your third-party subscriptions for you, and does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

3. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into this agreement in your jurisdiction and at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age that applies where you live). RenewBell is not directed at children.

4. Your Account

An account is required and is created through Sign in with Apple .

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and your device; activity performed through your signed-in account is your responsibility.

You must provide information that is accurate and yours. One account is intended for one person.

You can sign out or delete your account at any time from within the app (see Section 15).

5. Permitted Use

You may use RenewBell on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except to the extent permitted by law;

Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features, usage limits (including Smart Scan quotas), or subscription entitlements;

Use the app's backend or AI features in an abusive, automated, or excessive manner, or submit content designed to disrupt them;

Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws;

Misrepresent your identity to us or attempt to access another person's account or data.

7. Your Content

The subscription entries, names, notes, and settings you store in RenewBell remain yours. You grant us the limited right to store and process this information as needed to operate the service, as described in our Privacy Policy . Your data is private to your account; RenewBell has no public sharing or social features.

8. Application License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use RenewBell on iOS devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store usage rules. This license is for use of the app as provided; it does not grant you any rights in our source code, branding, or design.

9. Intellectual Property

The app, including its design, code, name, logo, and content we created, is owned by the developer and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party service names and logos displayed inside the app (for example the logos of services you track) belong to their respective owners and are shown for identification purposes only; their appearance does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of RenewBell.

10. Third-Party Services

The app relies on third-party services to function, including Apple (sign-in and payments), Supabase (backend), RevenueCat (subscription management), Google Firebase and PostHog (analytics and crash reporting), AI providers used by Smart Scan, and logo.dev (brand images). Your use of the app is also subject to any terms those providers impose on end users of their services. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

11. Device Permissions and Notifications

Features such as Smart Scan (camera, photo library) and renewal reminders (notifications, alarms) require permissions that iOS asks you to grant. You can decline or revoke them at any time in iOS Settings; the related features will simply be unavailable. Reminder and alarm delivery is performed by iOS on your device and can be affected by system settings, Focus modes, battery optimizations, or the app being removed — see Section 13.

12. RenewBell Pro (Subscriptions and Purchases)

RenewBell offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, RenewBell Pro , available in monthly and annual plans, which unlocks premium features (for example expanded Smart Scan usage, insights, exports, and additional themes). A free trial may be offered for some plans; where offered, its terms are shown on the purchase screen before you subscribe.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID through the App Store when you confirm the purchase. Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the new period begins.

You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions . Deleting the app or your RenewBell account does not cancel a subscription.

Use Restore Purchases on the paywall screen to re-activate an existing subscription on a new device or after reinstalling.

Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies; refund requests must be made to Apple (for example via reportaproblem.apple.com). We cannot issue App Store refunds directly.

13. Service Availability, Accuracy, and Updates

Reminders, alarms, spending totals, currency conversions, and Smart Scan results are provided as a convenience and depend on the information you enter, third-party data, and your device settings. You remain responsible for your own subscriptions and payments — always verify renewal dates and amounts with the actual service provider. We are not responsible for charges you incur because a reminder was not seen, was disabled, or fired at an unexpected time.

Smart Scan uses automated text recognition and AI and may produce incorrect suggestions; you review and confirm every entry before it is saved.

We may update, change, or discontinue features of the app or its backend over time, and updates may be required for continued use. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

14. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if you materially breach these Terms, abuse the service, or where required by law. You may stop using the app at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive (including Sections 9, 16, 17, and 18) survive termination.

15. Account Deletion

You can delete your account in the app at Settings → Main Settings → Data → Delete Account , or by emailing support@subscriptiontrackingapp.com . Deletion of your account and data is described in the Privacy Policy . Remember to cancel any active subscription separately with Apple (Section 12).

16. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" , without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. RenewBell is not a financial advisor, and nothing in the app constitutes financial advice.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app or its subscriptions in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

18. Indemnity

You agree to reasonably compensate us for losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising directly from your material breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the app, except to the extent caused by our own breach or negligence.

19. Apple App Store Terms

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple is not a party to these Terms, is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. In the event of the app's failure to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price of the app (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and are not on any U.S. government restricted-party list.

20. Changes to the Service or These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the latest revision, and material changes will be communicated through reasonable means (for example the app or its App Store listing). Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

21. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy , are the entire agreement between you and the developer regarding the app and supersede prior understandings on this subject.

22. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the developer's place of residence, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country in which you live. Before pursuing formal proceedings, please contact us — most issues can be resolved quickly and informally by email.
