Subscription cost calculator
A few small plans can look different over a year. Add your costs, choose their billing cycles and see the monthly and annual equivalents.
Enter every amount in the selected currency. Changing the currency changes the label; it does not convert amounts. Entries are not saved after this page closes.
How the subscription calculator works
Each amount is multiplied by the number of billing cycles in a comparison year. Weekly charges use 52 payments, every-four-week charges use 13, monthly charges use 12, quarterly charges use 4 and annual charges use 1. The annual equivalent divided by 12 is the monthly average.
| Billing cycle | Payments per comparison year | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Weekly | 52 | $3 × 52 = $156 |
| Every 4 weeks | 13 | $10 × 13 = $130 |
| Monthly | 12 | $10 × 12 = $120 |
| Quarterly | 4 | $30 × 4 = $120 |
| Yearly | 1 | $120 × 1 = $120 |
These examples are illustrative. The calculator does not use current provider prices, check your transactions, include a fee you have not entered or predict exact payment dates. Use your confirmed total charge, including tax if appropriate. Rounding is applied when displaying values; small differences can appear when adding individually rounded monthly rows.
Use the total as a starting point
A yearly equivalent helps compare plans with different billing schedules. Use a bill calendar to plan the actual charge dates. Annual charges can arrive all at once, even when their monthly average looks small.

Your entries stay in this page
Calculations run in your browser. The calculator does not send your entered names or amounts to an account, bank or calculator server, and it does not save them between visits. CSV downloads happen only when you choose. The website host still receives ordinary page requests; the app has its own privacy policy.
